Cajun Crab and Shrimp Dip

(Appetizer sized portions)





4-8 pieces Evangeline Maid Bread, toasted and quartered

1/3 pound imitation crab meat, shredded or chopped

1/3 pound cooked shrimp, minced

1/3 cup mayonnaise

1/3 cup sour cream

1, 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened

¼ cup finely shredded parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons prepared horseradish

2 tablespoons minced green onion

2 tablespoons minced red bell pepper

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 teaspoons hot sauce

1-2 tablespoons creole seasoning (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

salt and pepper to taste




  1. In a large mixing bowl, add all ingredients and mix evenly to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste. (adjust the creole seasoning to taste)

  2. Garnish with more minced red bell pepper and green onions if desired. Serve at room temp with toasted bread.

For a Warm Serving:

Once the ingredients have been mixed, add to a greased casserole or oven-proof baking dish and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until the top is lightly golden brown and bubbly.
